my geared road bikes have taken over from my fixed bikes as my daily ride, as i have a fairly long commute that isn't one gear friendly. as such my fixed bikes are now more of a a toy that i play with purely for pleasure.
the result is Ive gone for a much higher gear and leave the hills for days when im riding the road bikes. used to ride 52x20 daily everywhere, but now ride 52x16, although on windy days i find pretty difficult to get on top of that gear.
