  • jesus, don't you start that one-line talk again, it gives a headache

  • ^ that wasn't actually directed at jesus

  • Hose - And then I'm going to grow it this big?
Cam - Yeh wtvr, I could do that, I just choose not to. Oowe look, some logs 'n stuff!

    Someone wants a log-hopping challenge I'd say...

  • someone wants a log-hopping challenge i'd say...

    y.e.s.!

  • Someone wants a hog-lopping challenge I'd say...

    Yes....In....!!!

  • I was so annoyed to be stuck in hospital missing this! It looks like it was an awesome day. Hope it was great and Tom got a good send off.

  • Cam you need to attend the next polo olympics. could give jono a run for his money.

  • Watch your mouth beardy...

  • Finally finished sorting them out:

  • Did it take you long to sort both of them out?
(or am I doing it wrong?)

  • er, click on the link below the pic; ah, fuck, haven't changed the permissions - I will be right back

  • should work now. thanks for the elegantly sarcastic tip off Mr Bot

  • Nice snaps Will...

  • only just seen this thread...sorry to have missed you before you vacated the country. Look fwd to your next visit to London

  • why "bike plo" tags ?

  • They're really great photos as ever Will, great memories, though it's impossible to capture how infuriating the tap out's sea of bikes really is to play against. Lining up on your own facing so many friends, each of them trying to get in your way, or more, is pretty damn intense.

Gus, Aidan, Agata, and everyone else who'se posted in this thread who I haven't seen so recently - I'll see you all just down the road, there's plenty of polo to be played in 2010.

I don't think I'd've played polo tonight if I wasn't leaving London on Saturday morning (oh yes that's right, I've tapped out but I'm still slacking in London for a few more days) and this was a suitably memorable evening at Mitch, with biblical rain, a tense league game in near-impossible conditions on a court half underwater. I wasn't far off the Malletov v Moving Target ice polo of last winter, during the first league. But that's polo, and any polo whether winter or lazy summer afternoon, tournament sudden death or drunken throw-in, is equally awesome. So tonight is just another night alongside so many incredible memories I have of the last 18 months in London, riding my bike in circles trying to hit a ball between traffic cones.

    Enough #cheese,

    Forever and ever,

    Polo.

  • Amen

  • Farewell Tom, it has been a pleasure meeting Polo's finest gentleman.

  • what about me, you little shit!

  • You are neither fine nor a gentleman you offensive shitbag.

  • Gabriel, you have a hound.

    That is it.

  • Thanks for drinking with me in the rain at Downham whilst I shed a tear. I'm off.
    x

  • Safe travels mate!

  • Ladies and Gentlemen,
    Tomasito has left the building.

    Bon Voyage! x
