Make of it what you will. In my view, from all the evidence I can gather, Hitler was not committed enough to be a vegetarian. He seems to have eaten relatively little meat (my late grandmother told me that in those days, the extent of the menu in German restaurants was basically Eisbein mit Sauerkraut), but ate meat fairly regularly nonetheless.
