Where did you find the Perkins frame? Incredible.
i think there might be a clue in the writing at the bottom of the picture

What are you talkin about? 'Stamp carbon'. Why would anyone want to stamp carbon, I wouldn't...
I'm after COMPLETE BLACK CARBON BARS - NO DECALSMy point is, you won't find new brandless carbon bars.
Unless you type 'Maxipack', 'Taiwan', 'Fail' into ebay.
Better to buy some respected branded bars and take the stickers off.

I've managed to find some on ebay NO DECALS, thanks for your incorrect info though
And how would you expect me to take 'stickers' off. They're not stickers, always water transfers, then clearcoated....only way to get off is with wet & dry sanding which leaves abrasive marks as I found out on my carbon forks

Not necessarily clearcoated.
My black bars are now almost "stickerless".
I think the logo's were done "screen printing". No clear coat, just to save money and to keep the original material color / finish.
In most cases, the logo's will stay tho'.
If you don't like them, wrap the whole bars with bar tape.
But then the question comes up: why buying CF bars ? If noboby can see it, it really doesn't make any sense. Or you have to leave the price tag on. -

I've found some sprint bars for less than £100, DECALLESS :-)
Just pure carbon, Mmmmm

It's one hell of a naive attitude to assume that 'Made in Taiwan' = fail.
Yeah, they're even not made in Twn.

Taiwan is renowned for having some of the best Carbon fibre layup factories out there

Correction. Ebay was mentioned.
Unfortunately, not all carbon products are laminate/clearcoated finish.
Not all carbon products use water transfers either, some do have stickers.
Top marks on the find tho.

Where do you think the respected branded bars come from?
The respected companies bars are usually made in the same factory then just have the companies logos applied.
It's one hell of a naive attitude to assume that 'Made in Taiwan' = fail.Nothing wrong with Taiwan. I've have components from there.
It's one hell of a naive attiude to buy carbon without a warranty tho.

.
Haven't seen this officious prick on line for a while. Welcome back Ms Scraggie. -
• #23139
Who said they were? Unbranded doesn't mean no warranty.
Do you think the unbranded bars are simply grown in the garden from magic carbon beans or something?
The bars without branding are still made in a factory and still have the warranty from said factory, as well as the standard warranty from the seller if they're a proper ebay shop.Fortunately I'm bored.
I'm guessing magic carbon beans would need a proper hole to be dug?

Absolutly.
I've seen few examples of OEM's hinting at being the same as various top-of-the-line framesets. Simply unbranded. They look identical, but the weights are often several hundred grams heavier, which makes me think that the same mold is being used but the lay-up is different. Probably being paranoid, but I'm steering clear of these. I'm very tempted to get a openly taiwanese frameset though*,

It's one hell of a naive attitude to assume that 'Made in Taiwan' = fail. The counter argument (not mine), is that the quality control is enforced by the big brand names. Who have components produced to their exacting specifications.
Seems just a little off, to assume that factory changes into group of incompetent shite producing cowboys as soon as Mr BigBrands back is turned though.

Server fail...
Understand that the intention is to make shouldering more comfortable, but I hardly see CX racers shouldering the bike/frame with the seatlug on the shoulder.
Usually somewhere in the middle of the t/t or a bit further back.
CF brake surface: yeah, almost all riders.
A bit idiot tho'.
All for weight reduction and "moral". The wrong way IMHO.
