My $0.02 is that the person responsible for that site is this guy who used to come into cycle surgery all the time and wouldn't leave. I think he was autistic or something. Anyway, that site sounds like how that bloke speaks and the bikes are right up his street.
Either that or its some kid somewhere or a hoax.

but unfotunately they don't know that these 1" thread pedals with integrated bearings won't work on a brakeless fixed gear bike, because the pedals bearings always come loose when slowing down, skidding or trackstanding.
apart from all the other things which went wrong on this bike (risers, 44x22, saddle ...blah,blah...) this is a fucking security fail! in the worst case you will loose the pedals and if this is going to happen, i hope that the person who bought it is not on the streets in traffic.
sorry if i missed something.

the dura ace ax cranks are road cranks.
didn't he have any track cranks available for this budget build? -

44x22??! Polo?

I like the fact, that a grown up person isn't afraid to learn how to cycle with a balance bike and not with stabilisers. Big respect.
Grown up person? You clearly haven't met hoops.

Ok. Not for me, but...
If this had an aero seat post, the G3 on the front, the Corima disc on the rear, no brake, no red chain and drops, (basically NJS) it would be in porn.
But there's the trick, suddenly it looks like any other a generic factory team build.
That is why IMHO this shouldn't be in anti.
After all. It's no Koga.
;op

Even without any of those things, it wouldn't be NJS. The only NJS part on there are the cranks...
It's so close to being the track bike it wants to be. So close. Just some drops, a brakless, and some decent pedals and you'd be set.

• #6638
yeah, um, my bike is closer to being njs then that. in that it's made of steel.

Yeah i love the Bridgestone/Anchor frame . . but they need to be built up properly - plenty of them htat are in the porn thread already

what a way to ruin a nice fucking frame
http://www.chariandconyc.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/dsc_0728.jpg
and the blue nag is clearly built for rear brake too, what a waste of a very rare road racing nag.
[Photos below are obviously porn, but think already appeared in the porn thread, only to prove point]http://www.chariandconyc.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/dsc_0146.jpg

Hopefully it's just loads of bruises. My only worry is the left wrist (I can't grip anything) and few ribs. I will need some osteo for my right shoulder.
I ordered a trailor/cart for my daughter - you are welcome to take me to the drinks in it :-)
