  • Is anyone in the Cambridge area interested in any of the stuff below this before I offer it on the main forum? I’m up at Huntingdon but would be willing to deliver to Cambridge but preferably as a single trip. Prices are o.n.o. and if anyone wants it all then make me an offer, you may be surprised!

    Unknown Road Frame
    Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm
    Rear dropout width: 133mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Front brake drop with 700C wheel: 60mm
Rear brake drop with 700C wheel: 50mm
    Seatpost size: 23mm
I bought this frame as part of a complete bike from KINGCUTTER on the main LFGSS forum. Finish is NOT smooth and appears to be from a rattle can. Seatpost, bottom bracket and headset all seem to be in good condition, £40.

    Peugeot MTB Frame
    Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Front brake drop with 700C wheel: 55mm
Rear brake drop with 700C wheel: 50mm
    Seatpost size: 25.4mm
I bought this frame as part of a pair of mountain bikes from eBay. Finish is original but not in great condition. The seatpost is pretty much scrap, but at a push and with a little filing it could be used until a suitable replacement can be found. Bottom bracket and headset turn but their condition is otherwise unknown, £20.

Pair of drop handle bar brake levers from a Peugeot Road Bike, £5.

  • Will the Peugeot MTB frame take a 700c rear wheel? Obviously it will be built for 26"s but without a rear brake, this won't matter. Could you please have a look if a 700c will fit?

  • Might be interested in the drop bars and stem too

  • I've just double checked and a 700c fits with good clearance, approximately 25mm. I assume it was designed with significant wheel/ frame clearance, although I suppose 700c road tyres are shallower than 26" MTB tyres.
