Lovely looking bikes. Any chance of coming to have a look at them as by bro's after a bike for christmas he's 5'10 so should fit him fine but he'd want to have a look and take for a spin if possible. If so where in London are you based?

I have also a Vitus 979 Frame size 56 with a rear fork problem (it was glued a second time but still fixed on the frame).See the picture in my album.
The headset is a stronglight bador competition.
It is coming with it and the fork.
If somebody is interesting to buy it and repair it

I still sell the Vitus
Black one for 400 pounds and the red one for 350 pounds.

Saw these at the weekend. Lovely lovely bikes. Light as anything, beautifully looked after, quality bits and they look amazing in the flesh. Seller is a genuine enthusiast with a genuine reason for a quick sale (leaving the country).

I bought the old jaques off him for what i thought was a decent price, not sure if i'm going to keep it yet but it's every bit as cool as it looked in the pics and although i bet you could negotiate some given the circumstances.
