I bought an Adie wire basket. It's cool because I can throw it on to the bike for a run to the shops and take off without tools or faff.
The bracket is designed for bikes with a much larger head tube/stem/stack. I snapped off the part of the bracket which rests against the head tube whilst trying to bend it to fit above my brake (the build quality is fairly poor).
I'd like to fix it, but I'm not very handy, so I wondered if anyone with a bit more nouse had any suggestions.
It only cost £15, so I don't want to spend much money. I don't have tools to braze/weld/solder it back together. I was sort of thinking about trying to fix it by lashing it together with a wire coat hanger or something.
I can provide pics of the broken parts if that helps.
