Someone has asked me if there is anything that needs to be taken into consideration when lacing rims (3X pattern) with the holes not spread evenly over the rim but rather with pairs like in this photo:
Instinctively I would say, you would need to adjust the spoke length. I tried thinking about it but couldn't really work it out.
Suggestions? Thoughts? Or simply use the same spoke length you would for an ordinary rim?
