Anyone with a brain in their head knows that unisex means womens btw.
The litmus test for men is to consider if you'd ever get your hair cut in a unisex salon.

This is well fucking futile.
I have a soft spot for those shoppers, mainly because all the pretty girls at Uni ride around on them in packs.
I still REALLY want a Rally Chopper. MK I or II, but not 3 (fuck gripshift), it would be the best fun to cruise around on.
Welcome!

I'd have a Raleigh Chopper, they were miles better

We all gotta start somewhere.. After YEARS of riding and racing (Mountain bike, Tri, TT, Roadie) I now have the brand new steel Langster to play with. First ride home tonight. Soho to Brockley. Nice. Nice

One of the new steel NJS Langsters?

Yep yep
...So i've decided to jump into the world of fixed/ss bikes....
My bike history isn't particularly interesting, started with an old purple Raleigh I won at the age of about 10, after that I had a battered mongoose BMX for years which was finally replaced by a wethepeople pony in 2001(for a bit of flatland fun).
Stopped riding for a good few years.
Then I picked up a good condition 1973 Raleigh twenty 3 speed on a whim, it was great fun for doing short rides on.
NOT A GIRLS BIKE, IT'S UNISEX!
Girlfriend loved it more than anything she had ever seen, so she had to have one in red.
1974 twenty
Both of them were surprisingly in good nick considering the ages of them, all dynamo lights working fine etc. Mine has since started to kick the bucket in various ways, spokes breaking leading to wheels getting buckled, gear problems, going to fix it one last time and donate it to a family member I think.
So I have decided to treat myself to a nice new bike, and after reading up and looking at countless models I've decided to go for a fixed/ss bike. I'm not really much of a mechanically minded person (or have much free time at the moment) so i've decided to go with an off the peg Charge Plug Grinder in cream (I have been spoilt with a dry bum from the fenders on the twenty) but I love the look of the seat and bar combination from the standard plug, so probably going to swap out the ones on it for them:
Well thats my quick intro I guess, thought I'd post this message as a sort of hello. Looks like a good online community here, and I hope to join you people on one of the fun looking rides once I've got this here bike in my hands!
bednarz.
p.s .....yes brakes! :)
