i had exactly the same problem for exactly the same reason (3ttt stem).
was able to order one here: http://www.toolbank.com/p/D9780/ALL07M
although, £5 is probably the most i'd want to pay for an allen key (with shipping).
let's hope the relative scarcity of 7mm means no one will nick my bars....
might still resort to the ball bearing trick as an added precaution...
