Would you consider splitting and selling me the frame and fork? Have been after a 61cm Fuji track frame to replace my 58cm which is a little on the small side? Cheers.

Nope: if I didn't have one just like it in the garage I would be looking to get one just like it for the garage.

Possibly, i'd rather sell it complete but if it doesn't go i'll let you know.

I might be interested, but I'm new to this - just looking to buy my partner his first fixed gear commuter bike as a gift. He's about 6ft and doesn't commute far... Is this bike suitable? - since he hasn't ridden fixed gear before, should I start him on one with brakes?
Sorry to be a novice here.

Enabler, this might be a bit big. you need to get him to try out a few different sized bikes (ostensibly in preparation for the January sales). Or measure his inside leg (barefoot +accurately) and height and google for a bike fit calculator.
I think a shop would be best though. so you can see what he is after roughly.
and brakes are a MUST.

If you are growing tired of your highly-insured partner, and want more space around the flat, set him free brakeless. Otherwise, buy him a nice, big, powerful one.
I'm not being stupid for the sake of it (well, slightly), but so many people go straight to brakeless and it's simply dangerous. I've been riding for a long time, and I still won't do it.

Enabler, I'm 6ft 4 and found this frame a shade too big lengthwise so I reckon it will be too big for him unless he has a really long arms, but if he wants to come and have a ride anyway he's more than welcome.
Also, i've taken the brake off for the sale but always rode with one...very important!

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I think I'm hearing the right fitting might be more important than the surprise of the gift...
Good advice. -

I'm after a 58cm Fuji Track, but my max is £250 posted to Denmark.
That would require you to purchase the bike off the OP, exchange the frames, and ship the bike to me (which costs £60), so you're probably not interested. :-)
Just spent a bit on Tomasito's Gazelle so i'm getting rid of this.
Fuji Track 2008
61cm Seat tube c-t
59cm Top tube c-c
Mostly stock parts except for a new bottom bracket fitted a few weeks ago, an 18t EAI cog, new chain and bontrager race lite tyre on the rear.
The frame is all straight, no dents etc. Generally nice condition bar some scratches to the paintwork on the forks, a small chip on the top tube, a hole in the bar tape and a small tear on the saddle.
