  • As long as you have described the frame accurately to your knowledge, I will consider that any old, and especially used, frame is "sold as seen".

    When you buy a used, old frame, you have to expect all type of unforeseen problems that are difficult to detect even on close inspection and only come up once you start to taking apart or building the frame: a BB that has become "welded" to the frame, a wrongly installed headset which has damaged headtube, a hardly visible dent in the forks, etc...

    If you don't want to take risk, just buy a NOS frame...
