For Sale: Frame - pretty in pink

My friend has this rather lovely Concorde Colombo frame for sale. Size is 57 cm c-t and top tube 56 cm c-c, it's made from Columbus Aelle tubing. He assures me it is in near perfect condition but he doesn't have the time or money to build it into the fixie that it is aching to be. He'll reluctantly accept £110 + £10 postage (down from the original asking price of £150). Any interest?

About the £150 being overpriced... my opinion, open forum, know the value of Concordes pretty well, common road frame, Aelle, etc.

JonoM - it's funny what you say about Concorde as people do seem to underrate them imo. Personally I would say they are of better quality than Gazelle with their Italian heritage, but each to their own I suppose and of course you are entitled to your opinion, just probably made it harder for me to sell this for my mate :)

That said I did sell a tatty Concorde frame for £150 myself and a very nice complete bike for £350 recently. So it seems that some people are aware of their quality.

Anyway with its hipster 'pretty in pink' paintjob, the new gorgeous baby blue, and blinging chrome I'm sure that someone on here will make a good offer, especially in this condition. If not it'll reluctantly be off to Ebay.

I've always loved them, I'm not sure I'd put Gazelle below them in terms of quality as Gazelle had access to all the Concorde frame builders/resources and then some (but not vice-versa), but yeah... Concorde's are great.

@jonomarshall: i don't think fucking with someone's sale is a petty issue. i'm tired of people on here being arrogant and sanctimonious when it comes to other people's sales prices. You didn't say "in my opinion", nor did you give reasons.

we're going to have to differ i guess.. immediately suggesting something should be priced 33% lower would be trying to fuck with my sale if it was me.. and unless it was Tel who was telling you about your own prices - in which case ignore everything I said as it's about tit for tat - then it's not helping anybody is it?

i just don't see why this should run any differently to ebay - if someone puts something at an astronomical BIN on ebay people just don't buy it. Or do buy it, and everyone else thinks they're a mug.

i would say the social norm might have been to say "nice frame dude, but aelle isn't all that hot tubing wise, i think £150 is a bit steep, would you take £100?"

if he refused it you could leave it.. or maybe a price could be agreed.

The lowest he was willing to go was £120 + postage, and I've offered £120 posted. It's not a million miles off, is it? Hardly screwed up the sale. But I still would like to know exactly what is included.
