seller: You can see from the pics that the paint colour does not match at the top of the seat tube - this is because I had to have a seized seatpost removed - done expertly by Barry Whitcomb of Souuth London - and he could not match the original Carlton paint exactly.

what, heating the seat tube with a blow torch and burning the paint is "expertly"?

I'm the fucker, it arrived today, and the repair looks fine, straight and solid, plus it looks like the white fade in spray can be stripped back, and the stays are still chrome below. Paint is all in great nick other than that, and it looks great. It is unfortunately too small for me though and it was frowned upon to bring another bike home today so i should pass this on. Have stripped the headset off which had seen the end of its life tbh.

To all those who were disappointed, first one to PM me, can take it for the price i paid plus the delivery, collect in Hackney. The seattube and headtube angle are not as slack as this photo makes them look. It does look smart in the flesh!
