  • i love bikes with split seattubes

    Ha Rik!
    right bed time.

  • I was just going to ppost that pic, epicness

  • ah, split seattube. not normally a fan of lopros, but that's gorgeous!

  • i want one....
    (only today)

  • Carbon rack

  • repost, nice one though

  • whoa.... i haven't looked at this thread in ages.
all this bitching about a hub???... some of you guys need to get out more.

i do think putting a chub on that zipp rim is a bit backward.... but for all the infinite wisdom some of you are dishing out, have any of you actually ridden a chub?

i have been riding one laced 2 cross to a B43 on the road for several months now.... they are a joy to ride.... and shock horror, i've actually ridden with it several times on a real life velodrome too.

i think most of what mitre_tester said is regurgitated internet bullshit, as the extra stiffness is very noticeable on the track, compared to a standard flanged hub, in my opinion.

i do think they tried to solve a problem that didn't really exist, just to make a hub that looks a bit different. but thats why i like it.

i'm not the most knowledgeable guy in the world about all this bike geekery that some of you guys seem to spend most of your time arguing about, but in my experiance, it's a very nicely put together hub, that is a joy to ride. the machining is of good quality too, the titanium M10 bolts/axles are a thing of beauty.

and for the record, they look fucking awesome (in black).... so all you nay-sayers can kiss my ass.

  • I was talking about the hubs specifically, but that wasn't clear. I question internet wisdom generally, and this thread is a prime example, but on this I really have an issue with it as I know lots of people who are both happy with their Ksyriums, and also have had many miles of trouble free riding on them.

I've added you to that list.

Ooooh, I'm on a list. nice.

    yah, whatever he said ^^

I feel proud of wasting so much of peoples time and typing up with one picture of a wheel.

  • Not porn for me, but defintely for some of you;

$16,000 worth of bicycle build for specialized, 'prototype testing' apparently.

  • Thats the Specialized Shiv

Looks much better when in TT mode

  • I do love it when the frane colour and decal are pretty straightforward, black with decals on downtube, that it.

The Zipp dwarfed the S-works decals thought!

  • It looks like that one in Japan has been blagged off a pro team and then puppykilled - would love to know how they got hold of it as they arent even available to the public yet

  • Awesome

  • apart for some monstrosity that Pista put up there, this page is the best porn in age, amazing bikes... all of them

  • meh. not barspinnable.

  • .

    Lust!

  • Personally I was more excited about the hub.
What the hell is it and where do i find one?

  • Love the purple Bianchi. Looks to be my size, and I would'nt change a thing (well, add a brake).

The back wheel on that S-Works irritates me, should be 606 or a disc. Unless hipster TT's have rules about not allowing matching wheels and tyres.

  • That s-works is anti, vertical drop outs and fixed is always anti, no exceptions. I can handle some conversions but vertical drop outs, noooo... But that Bianchi is porn, lovely. Pretty sure that went on ebay not too long ago, for a pretty good price too.
