This isn't intentional insomnia. It was forced upon me. I'm sure that makes it very far from technical "insomnia". I am currently scouring tapes and hard drives looking for airchecks of promos we've made throughout the year. People here aren't very good at their job meaning that it seems none of the airchecks are on tape - at least I've got a big hard drive though... They'll all be there... No? No. Some twunt decided not to tell me that the hard drive failed earlier in the year and that most of the files were lost and those that were retrieved were corrupted. It's now 2 am. I've been in the office since fucking Friday calling people called fucking Pedro who work for broadcasters on the other side of the fucking world hoping they did their job properly and saved fucking copies of the things they fucking broadcast.
The DVD featuring the checks needs to be made and in the hands of quite an important figure by 11 fucking AM.
At this stage I'm just going to hope there are enough free computers in the office (it's 2am of course there are) to render dodgy fudged "airchecked" broadcaster graphics/tickers etc over all of the clean copies we have.
All I want to do is sleep.
