talkin' to me? well .. you're basically paying twice because they're 'cycle-specific'. I mean, how much more does it cost them to make them, to put a little SPD-compatible insert in them? nothing.

a similar pair sans SPD will be around £40.

How do you figure that adding a stiffened midsole, cleat attachment plate and the cut-able outersole will cost Vans "nothing"?
