Sadly as always there are compromises.
I understand it's a continuing dilemma for charties as to whether they help a lot of people a little or a few people a lot. I tend to favour the latter because it means that other efforts can go further but I think that you're right that we should be looking at the former.

Great price!
Yep, 399 would cost £203.50, 400 would cost £160. I reckon we could actually do 400. As always, when buying for charitable purposes, mention it to the retailer and see if they want to up the offer.
Also looks like a good excuse for a forum ride to Camberley to collect.

I am Ray Mears
Digger Mears has very kindly offered to start a survival workshop for the homeless that will teach them how to construct temporary shelters using carefully removed posters previously used to advertise poor quality drum n bass gigs and supporting poles made from slotted together McDonalds straws.
He will also offer advice on how to start fires with nothing more than old cigarette butts and the heat generated by the warm glow of a loving heart.

Digger Mears, can you explain why McDonalds straws are better for shelter contruction than those stirring sticks you get from Starbucks or Pret a Manger?

Sighhhh...Amateur!
You need the stirring sticks to stab into the old chewing gum on the pavements to peg down the posters previously used to advertise the poor quality drum n bass gigs!Digger Mears urban survival course...
