Zombie vs. La Schmoove.
Zombie playing with sub Brian ;P
Zombie the first on the charge on all 3 games and Yorgo very ball hungry throughout the whole fixture.
La schmoove hot on the tails of most attacks from zombie. Brian working the ball pretty good through the midfield but unfortunately not converting more shots.
La Schmoove playing a solid game in attack, mid and defence and were very unlucky with some of the shots coming their way.
Lots of hustling in both D’s but most goals being converted on breaks. Pique and Dave both very solid in goal and linking up pretty well, with JB slotting little trademark passes to himself through zombie BB’s .
Ends of the courts seem to be proving bias for zombie as they seem to play better on the east side of the court. Also goal refs found it hard judging shots on that side, even though the other end has one light out.
Generally great play all round...the first 2 games finished within 5 seconds of each other. 13mins 40ish.
Reffing: very difficult to make calls on some of the Yorgo/JB play as they are so fast and constantly playing games of chicken (head on attacks/deffence). Generally fair play with very little complaints about both teams. Mike putting some previous claims to bed by releasing trapped mallets very quickly and getting outta the way when footing down.
Tough luck to La Schmoove could have gone either way... Yorgo effect tipped the scales.
Yorgo was the star player.
