Machined rims colour

  • Are there any machined rims where the machined bit is the same colour as the rim (and will stay the same colour)?

    They last better than standard anodising but unfortunatly still get marked by the brakes.

  • no anodising is going to stand up to wear of rubber break pads so you will always have a rubber brake line no matter what rims you buy :)

  • My Mavic CXP-33s are holding up pretty well, but only done about 1000 miles on them and need the occasional wipe clean. I'm very fond of them, though.

  • Just get unmahcined rims, the machining is only to stop brake squeel on new rims.
