Bike Anti-Porn - When Things Go Wrong

i used to leave my bike unlocked outside a station in nagoya and then one day it was gone. i felt a bit stupid for being so trusting and thought no more about it until i got off at the station a few days later and there it was again, cleaned. i think someone had borrowed it and cleaned it to ease their conscience - only in japan.

what in fuck? that is epic. how is bike theft such a non issue in japan? (from what it sounds like). i carry 3 locks around with me totally 3.3kg and still worry about my bike not being there when i return.
