  • So back in the 90s when I was a BME kid the plugstretching thing was done the old fashioned way - get a correctly sized flesh tunnel, put a wrap of electrical tape around it, put it back in. Then once the ear is OK, do it again. Its fast (over a period of a year I went from 5mm to 40), safe, no chance of blowouts if you're careful, and it's just the best way of doing it in my experience. Do people not do that anymore? Why?
