Lutefisk is vile. I blame the Swedes for it. I've eaten it a few times and although some things do taste better when you grow older, that dish is not one of them.
But I do like fish and chips. I've understood that, at least according to a Kiwi I know, in NZ it is some species of shark (the cheap stuff, at least). And that it's rarely good fish as it is supposed to be not that fine dining.
Salt and vinegar are a fantastic combination. I just wish we'd have decent crisps, here.
