no infection as of yet so will hopefully be ok. Cleaning it morning and night with antiseptic wipes (not good enough?) and so far all seems to go well.
Pain is less every day (much less than I expected) and swelling is almost completely gone, must be good signs no? Was worried about all the oil n grit from the chain but got most of it off so should be allright I hope
