contact a powdercoater and ask if they'll sell you some?
What do you need it for? -
• #3
yeah I have done but they were a bit shitty about it... I suppose it doesn't make good business sense for them to sell me paint if they can charge me £65 quid to paint it for me... I want to paint my bike obviously ;-)

it's usually £20/25 for the blasting and the same again for coating

Powder coating is not so much painting as covering something is plastic. It requires different equipment to normal spray painting.

" it's usually £20/25 for the blasting and the same again for coating" - I emailed armourtex and they wanted 65 english pounds to strip then paint. @ tommy - cheers for your advice - My dad works in a factory though. the reason I'm after paint is that I want an exciting colour; and they can only order in bulk. The smallest box of paint they can get in costs 80 quid which makes armourtex cheaper; and they aren't exactly cheap...

Cool.
If you can find other people who want the same colour as you splitting the cost would be an option to cut costs.

Click on Tommy's link above, then on the 'powders' tab.

there is a US company called roseyspowdercoating who sell 1lb bags of powder. I bought some from them last year through ebay.
Does any one know any british suppliers willing to sell powder coating paint in small quantities? I'm after around a lb of paint... googled it but can only find american companies who are either unwilling to post to the UK or want to charge me 50 dollars to do so...
any ideas?
