SHIMANO 600AX GROUPSET
Shimano’s pioneering and radical groupset that was designed to be more aerodynamic... introduced 1980, withdrawn 1984 It has has many radical features including partial indexing built-into rear derailleur, non standard pedals with dropped platforms, spoke lacing on the hubs is all with the heads on the inside, cool aero delta style brakes - Lance Armstrong continued to use the Dura-Ace version of these until after 2000 for TTs, extraordinary handlebar stem with conceled bolts for handlebar clamp and expander and last but least the first aero shaped
seatposts These are a truly cool groupset that was in many respects years ahead of their time
This complete set is very lightly used - I should think its done no more than a 100 miles or so.

Shimano 600AX Chainset 170mm cranks complete with 600AX aero pedals with large diameter bearings and lower foot platform complete with original toeclips and Shimano straps and complete with the correct English threaded BB
Shimano 600AX brakeset complete with levers and excellent virtually perfect hoods

I've nearly finished compiling a 600ax groupset for my roadbike and can confirm its superbly made kit.
Other than the crazy pedal spindle bearing things that mean you have to use the ax cranks/pedals together...
Price on this is awesome, i spent more to put mine together.
Hilary - Whats the chances you have a pair of nos 600ax levers with white hoods knocking around, would be very interested if you do....
