Fitted a cheapo Concor saddle from Tour de Ville to my current project, despite the huge colour clash it looks (and more importantly, feels) so much better than the Brooks saddle did.
I need input on bar tape though. I'm changing the bars next and will need to wrap the new ones, but not sure what will match the dis-coloured saddle. I'm almost tempted by brown tape but think that would clash with the paint job. Perhaps white tape and just rub dirt on it to get it as brown as the saddle?
