• I need a pair of white or chrome vintage Mudguards 700c for Jayloos wedding bike!

    That is all.

  • I have some vintage white Bluemels, the guards are in decent nick, but the stays are rusty. The new stays and bolts that hold them onto the guards, that you can get for new SKS guards, should work fine. So a little work required just trying to get some rust off the loop of metal bracket on the guard that the bolts go through.

    This costs £15 from SJS.

    I recall I paid £20 for the guards from snowy. Never done anything with em.

    Not a cheap solution now I've written it all down. A new set of Gilles Berthouds which are nice shiny chrome costs £40 I think. :{

  • I have some chrome guards off an old peugeot mixte you can have if you want. they're not perfect, and have screw holes for where the lights used to sit (they're around too somewhere I think..) not perfect, but the chrome is still nice'n'shiny... but you can have them (for free) if you want..

    they're for upto 700x30 I'd say..

  • Thanks, tourist! Free is good, get on those, Aram!

  • Fuckin pennypinching immigrants. heh ;)

    How's it going Jayloo?! When're you coming back?
