I've always accepted fixed penalty fines as part of the deal with couriering; I think I've had five or six of them in 17 years. But those are £30 (used to be £20) fines not £2500. I don't think I've ever heard of a courier or anyone else being threatened with that before. ATK: maybe it's someone from Whitfield st nick that has seen you in the park and is just jealous of your youth and high spirits. I know I am. Or maybe it's that Spinergy front wheel. If I was you I'd just tape Ronnie's voice on the radio and if you do go to court get your brief to play it; even the most hardened magistrate would take pity on a courier who has to listen to that all day.
