There are plenty of templates to be found for free. Personally, I would avoid paying someone to type up information that you give them in the first place.

You might be better off visiting the Job Centre. Quite often, for people in your situation they'll be able to direct you to guides for CV writing and some free appraisal services. No point in wasting money on it. Alternatively, if you want, bring it up to date and I'll take a look at it for you.

Oh, and lie. Lie lots.
Don't ever lie on your CV.
Present the truth in a manner in which it can easily be interpreted as something better than it really is. I.e, you CV should contain more spin than a jaunt down Sydenham hill on a 39x25.

The base CV I have is pretty good and has helped me get a interview for majority of jobs I've gone for in the past, but it's the bull shit that I need to write in for the last 2 jobs that I'm struggling on at the moment really maybe just a case of writers block but with the job market the way it appears to be any advantage seems to be a good one now.

Anyone used one?
I've been recisioned(well quit just before it happened) so need to start looking for new work. I've lost the last copy of my CV so the current version I have is 2 Jobs and 4 Years out of date.
I've had a look on google and come across abunch of places all offering from £30-200 for their services. Alot of sites look like they were made in 1996 the others look like they were built to scam. I'm no wordsmith and with the way things are at the moment I can see the need for having the perfect cv.
So basically can anyone recommend a company?
