Agreed - if you're going to try and be a cowboy at the very least check behind you and don't get caught. Otherwise you get what you deserve.

Well I'm not trying to be a cowboy thanks, half of the cyclists on the road jump reds, but obviously beig a courier I'm going to do it whenever I can. And I did actually look behind me, I do most ofthe time, but he must have been quite far back or something.
