Could be a better way of doing it now as I have G1 but (pm if you can't do any of this):
Stick your tunes on your SD card or phone.
Download Rings Extended from market
Menu > Settings > Sound & Display > Phone Ringtone
Select Rings Extended
Select Music
Select your tune.- I've got LFO: LFO
Job done - btw baccy on its way!
