NOS raleigh track frame...fluoro yellow.
Exactly what I used to ride, mine was NOS when I got it too!
They're not fluro, but more of a metallic/pearly yellow. Dead good colour. -

Koga's are very decent bikes made in the north of Holland, Heerenveen. They're nothing extra ordinary, but you sure can get them from cheap via Marktplaats.

nice condition gianni motta
Gourgious.
Even fits me and bids are still not too high. Why am I so reasonable and don't place a serious bid?
I wonder why he put a Duell fork in that bike... -

anyone know much about koga miyata? ive never ridden one, but some of them look bloody lovely.Koga Miyata is a high end Dutch bike brand. Average specification of the bikes is higher than what others do. Bikes are always assembled by 1 person. So, no assembly lines, just stations with 1 person / 1 bike (okay, wheels, handlebars pre-assembled). Therefore, no competitive pricing when new. For freaks and fans only.
Almost never really rubbish in their line-up. Frequently they have too expensive, unreal bikes in their catalogues and on their booth in bike shows.
In the beginning, frames came from Miyata cycle, Japan. Later, and today, frames come mainly from Hodaka, Taiwan (also Fastrax brand). At least the alu models. Don't know about carbon frames.
Already end 1970 (when they just started the brand), they offered life time warranty on frames. Too bad for them, they developed several frames with structural failures. Steel, alu, carbon...
Koga was founded by Mr. Andries Gaastra, grandson (?) of the founder of Batavus. Andy Gaastra's wife (Polish Mrs. Kowalski) delivered the other 50% of the name Ko-Ga). Koga also started importing the Giant brand in NL / Europe. -

501 double butted not as heavy as many might think and solid. Made around 1988 I think. -
