I've heard that EBC are much more durable than OEM (read: Shimano) brake pads.
I don't care that much about brake performance, just durability is important in Dutch rain and mud. NL is flat, you know...
If you have other recommendations, please give them.
Oh, and EBC pads for MTB are at least available from year 2000 or so.
