Does anyone else seem to find that they have a nasty habit of wearing out BB bearings very quickly?
On my old bike, before I had my trick bike, I killed 2 sets of bb bearings in 6 months (sugino BB), on my current bike, a cotic road rat it was mint when I had it and now 3 months later the BB is starting the ol creak click shuffle.
Time to switch to an external BB crankset?
Are they a lot more durable than normal BB bearings?
I was thinking something along the lines of a SRAM omnium set, someone said I should clear them ok on my current bike, some people have problems with the crank arm fouling I think?.
Frankly i'm getting fed up with the hassle of changing BBs/bearings etc.
