A weekend in the countryside of eating and drinking, mostly eating, seems to weigh heavily on my legs, turning the cranks has been hard work this last day and a half.
In fact this morning it took being overtaken by a hipster on a yellow track frame in very skinny jeans wearing white plimsolls riding freewheel no rear brake to motivate me and go a it faster.
So as an antidote to this malaise I shall do some laps of Swains tonight.
