There is, of course, hatred between the good people of different regions of perfidious Albion (and I guess nobody likes Scousers), but is Newcastle not a part of England?
I've only seen the first two seasons of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and although Oz was an animal, I do not think even he felt as xenophobic as Dallat123. And Oz could read, if I remember correctly, although I am not sure if the character was from "Byker high street".
