1.At least he has a sense of humor...
2.Get a brake you muppet! You could kill your self or someone else!
3.Just put your balls on the stem, lean all your weight onto the front wheel and lock your legs when they are flat. Pull up with your right leg on the clip and push with your left, (Or vice versa)
You cant go wrong. -

- take 30 steps back from the wall
- close your eyes
- cycle as fast as you can
- skid before you hit a wall

Seriously, the best way to learn would be to find a steep hill.....

Are you sure that you build a bike with a fixed wheel and not a free wheel?
-
• #19
is it definately fixed wheel?
check you haven't got a freewheel or have forgotten to fit the chain. -

Bakery ride! DO IT!
Put a coaster brake on Mr J, no-one will be able to tell you're not riding fixed and you can do wicked skidz!
-
• #23
Coaster brake FTW!
-
• #24
The swobo-coaster has done many 'wickkid skiddz' in and around brighton. Coaster brakes are awesome!
-

Used to ride a super long old raleigh, front brake was broken, gear hub was broken, but oh sweet coaster brake.
Piece of advice: try the underpass that smells like piss next to the seafront flat bit, the most skidable spot I know, just don't fall and stand next to me afterwards
hello
i built a fixed gear bike and i cant skid the stupid thing.
it has no brakes and i need to learn how to stop the thing.
i am not a complete muppet on a bike and cant understand why i cant skid the back wheel? i am probably just a weed ?
anyway, is there anyone out there willing to show me how to do it? i am in hove and cycle about on the seafront now and then.. 5pm or weekend... will happily pay beer for any good lessson!
yo, j
