Currently playing lots of mw2 and also really liking the htfu gamertag.

PS3 has just died. The disc reader has failed. Sony want £99 to fix it (without even seeing it) plus any other costs for related issues. Everything else works fine. Have to wait till I get paid to fix it. Seriously annoyed now.

Any laptop sata drive should work, but check before buying. Not sure what the maximum it will take. Put a 500Gb drive one in a few months ago. Very easy to do. Must back up your existing drive first as removing it wipes it. You also need to download the sony operating system to a disc or flash drive and install this on the new drive before you can put your saved stuff on. I did this after the warranty had ended. Not sure it it voids an existing warranty. Check first. I don't want to be responsible for killing your machine.

24 Month Contract on a £35+ doesn't mean free gift, it means you have paid for you console within the price.

If you shop around, you can get better deals on contracts using quidco, cash back offers etc.

Not if that was the tarrif i wanted anyway. It takes too long to wait for cash back cheques every few months. I want it now! Well, soonish.
