Still think the head tube is to long and the main triangle is far to much like a rectangle to be strong. This goes double if its being made from bendo-flexo eastern block titanium. I know its not the cool thing to do but flip that stem and shorten the head tube. There is no reason the stem needs to be a -5deg job apart from asthetics.
Thanks for the advice JDB; it's appreciated, and i'm sure you're right! To be honest though, I think that aesthetics probably account for 60% of my decision making, and frankly, i'd rather have a 5-pinter than a 10-pinter.
The bike will be for commuting, knocking around town, and the occassional long ride, so i'm unlikely to be dealing with any technical descents. However, i've tried to stiffen-up the front end as much as possible with a massive down tube and tapered top tube. Should be ok i think :-/
