can people please stop lecturing ss riders with fb only. depending on your bike setup 70%-80% of the braking power are at the front anyway, if you get behind the saddle that number is even higher. In a forum where a massive proportion of people ride fixed without brakes this is just ridiculous. its and individual choice depending on the riding s(h)kills and the risks you are willing to take. I agree that not everybody should do this, but seing a pic on a forum doesn't tell you about peoples riding skills
by the way that brake cable doesn't need trimming, it needs a longer outer.

you have more control on a brakeless fixed than with a front brake ss, slam on that and you're going straight over the bars....looks like a fun little run around bike though

thats exactly the kind of bullshit i was refering to. try riding brakeless withot any skills and u r dead meat. same applies for braking on a fb. by the way a rear brake doesn't help you not going over the bars if you can't operate the front one.
