otherwise go to a road bike forum and clutter them up, there are enough fucking pages of people discussing pedals here
there is a search function here, and there is also google

Has it ever occured to people that the habitual blunt "UTFS" responses when presented with threads of this nature discourages discussion of actual cycling related topics? So what if there's a lot of similar threads? That's what we're here for isn't it? If all people do is UTSF and read old threads the forum's going to turn into nothing but an archive of outdated threads.
I spend a bit of time on a guitar website that has 15,000+ members and evey new thread about a topic that might have been discussed a million times before is usually at least given a polite response and few links to relevant threads. Often people pitch in with their recent personal experience of said entry level product and life goes on.
Not having a go at you specifically James but honestly I think this forum's in jokes and comedy gruffness can sometimes detract from potentially useful threads.

I know nothing about about road pedals. Sorry!
