£50! To have sex in my car! I can do that for free! Rip off.

Yeah I suppose... So people of Tommy's class can just put their plasma on the bonnet, but I still think it'll be wicked to go to this. It's purpose built, and there are some great films on.

went to a drive in movie down here a few months ago, and it was pretty good, but I wouldn't pay £50 for the pleasure....

probably wouldn't pay that, tickets for here were £25, but i got a freebie. it's kinda fun, but not as much as you think it would be.... saw the goonies. forgot how awesome that film is. but it would probably have been more comfortable watching it at home, not surrounded by chavs.

no booze, £50 to get in, you have to travel miles to get there and you take your own seats..

...and why do it in November?
Freezing your arse off watching a film you've already seen for £35! how dare they!

This would be better if they had proper 50's cars and proper movies. Who wants to watch Harry Potter in their little Ford Focus when you need to be properly reclining watching Elvis movies in a T-bird?
It's a nice idea, but it's going to be crap in Britain.

I think it's cool. Film4 do a 'dereliction drive-in' that's always fun, they use cars from local scrapheaps... It's usually at festivals though so I guess you're already expecting to be cold and damp.

Is it HD ready?
Just a headsup, and possiblity only for the few of you that occassionally like to drive/miss the romanticism of cars: There's a Drive-In cinema at Pinewood Studios the next few weeks, I think it's a pretty awesome idea.
If you lack vehicular transport, SC are going, and they're not even asking you to be a member.... https://www.streetcar.co.uk/drivein/films.aspx
