i didnt think you were allowed to take 'conversions'' on the track? - as in, it still has horizontal road dropouts not track ends- are they track legal?

The Rossin Ad is gone now, so, perhaps it's too late now.
But to answer the question: no, there's no buyer protection.
You could ask other forumengers from Eindhoven (Shame, Djee-Djee), to have a look. Otherwise, you've to be pretty sure of your case.
