FFS sake when people post 'I've just been robbed of my beloved bike... help me', lots of people offer beater parts all the time, or if someone starts a begging thread for cheapo beater stuff, they get replies.
Yeah she fucked up. She knows that now, which is why she realised she had to give it back and take the £150 loss on the chin (she turned down money to buy it back!). Now what's so wrong in showing her how it should be done, if she's interested?
