I love boardgames. I like some computer games, too, but I really only play them when I can't get people around a table to play a good boardgame.
I have a full Talisman (classic edition) and Carcassonne and would love to get some Ticket to Rides (so simple and still a favourite), but storage space is at a premium.
I also love Boggle, Scrabble, and a large number of other games.
I'm from Germany where there is a massive boardgame industry. A lot of games that didn't have a chance elsewhere became big hits there, the most famous example being Railway Rivals/Dampfroß, which was actually invented by a Brit but published by a German company.
