right i'll measure up tonight my frame is 55cm so i might get away with it with a short stack headset. Any pics?

Might also have something for you that I bought but isn't quite what I need.

Sorry I was just in a rush, it's a black (home-done spray job, not by me) set of 531 steel forks with campag dropouts , pretty classic styling. 170 steerer tube. No pics on hand just now but if you're interested then I will take some. I'd be after about £20 plus a little towards the post as they cost me about that. The rake doesn't match the track fork they were going to replace as it had super close clearance. might still use them but if you're interested let me know.

Ok so I'll measure when I get back. Say 25 inc postage. They are being stripped and powdercoated anyway.

Yeah 25 posted would be fine, I'm pretty sure the steerer is 170mm but I'll double check later. Would be perfect for a strip and powder, they'll be lovely forks for someone, just not quite right for my needs. If you reckon they'll fit I can send a pic.

i"ll pm you now for pic. -

I have some similar, 531 if they don't work out but mine'd need cutting down.

ok i measured without taking the fork off....... and it needs to be approx 19cm with at least 2.5cm of thread.
charliewhiskey and chaliapin i'm hoping you'll come up trumps.
Oh and remember straightish forks with as close to zero rake as possible.

they're pretty long! Steerer is 24cm with 5 cm of threading on the top.Currrently black with a few chips, came off a brian rourke that had the back triangle run over by a fecking taxi but the forks a fine, couple of chips in the paint, campag dropouts. Pics here

they're drilled for nutted brakes not allen keys but it's very easy to file the hole slightly bigger for more modern brakes, I've done it on others. I'll check the brake drop if you're interested, think it's 39mm so you can fit a guard under a short drop brake with a bit of fiddling rake looks like normal road jobbies, not a lot but a bit. Let me know if you fancy it, -

They look like they have a fair amount of rake although i can't tell as theres no side profile.
Sorry for messing people around but i am looking for straight forks with almost zero rake.
i Thought i had put this in the advert but being as inebriated as i was, i'm not surprised i missed these key points.....sorry.
looking for a fork for a project bike. something like a kona project 2 fork would be ideal.
I'll take anything ( i don't care how ugly they may be)
it's got to have a reasonable amount of threaded steerer length tbc
1" take a 700c wheel.
If someone can help i'd be grateful. tried everywhere for this and nothing has come up. And i can't afford a custom fork right now.
