Stolen bikes

never actually posted it as stolen, but on the way to school today i saw MY peugeot equipe chained to a lamp-post, so i called the plod and they said if i could get it off and prove it was mine i could give it a shot, one quick call to my dad later and he was down with the bolt cutters, job done!

so if anyone says their knackered red peugeot got stolen from outside Alleynes, they are a funder of bike theivery and should be put down like the mongrel they are.

Careful about the dubious legality of removing such a bike even if you are 100% the proper owner. Stolen bikes should really be recovered by the police only. I obviously know that quite often, people don't get the police time they request. Glad you got your bike back all the same.
