@M.f.
We could all get together and make a constantly updating Spotify playlist or some such? I'm sure if we opened a forum account people could add tracks to it from the various threads.
Can't be too hard, right?
er, Im not on Spotify, I understand its good for the nominal fee you pay, although not sure how good they are on obscurities- which is part of the fun of youtubing.
Guess if there was someone clued up who could quickly create a Youtube lfgss user to create playlists that would be ace.? -

jesus even the basic channel cd is over 10 years old
there are fewer and fewer whole albums that i wish to listen to these days - Mike Inc's Gas Project, the Basic Channel (white) CD, My Bloody Valentine and a few others
Did really enjoy Mark Pritchards most recent album but nos sure it will still be on my list in 10 years time.
you sound like a man after my own heart. MBV are well out of the "noughties" as no doubt you know. i will 3rd (i think) is this it by the strokes. that album still does it for me. i've been listening to it quite a bit recently.
the first mars volta album was class as was yellow house by grizzly bear. maybe they're not necessarily going to stand the test of time, but they really did it for me at the time.
to be honest, tulenkantaja by uusitalo is probably my favourite, although vocalcity and paper tigers by his other persona - luomo were well up there too. electronic music is not really a great long player genre in fairness.
oh and mgmt - total load of my hoop.

@pifko -yeah providing you are willing to submit to the subliminal chant of the marketeer between tunes, I would rather have pure unadulterated choice.
trying to find Nes' Marvellous melodious mixtape thread- a way of sharing your current favourites- but I cant find it?It might have been created and then 'lost' in the server upgrade debacle...
